Saudi Arabia Maintains Strong Oil Supply to China Despite Minor July Dip

China is set to receive another robust shipment of Saudi crude oil in July, continuing a three-month trend of strong deliveries from the world's top oil exporter, according to industry sources. While volumes will see a marginal decrease compared to June, Saudi Arabia continues to solidify its position as a key supplier to the world's largest crude importer.

Data obtained from Chinese refinery allocations reveals that state-owned Saudi Aramco will deliver approximately 47 million barrels of crude oil to Chinese buyers in July. This represents a modest reduction of about 1 million barrels compared to June's allocation, but still maintains historically high supply levels.

The distribution pattern shows interesting shifts among Chinese refiners. Major state-run processors including Sinopec and PetroChina, along with the Aramco-backed Fujian refinery joint venture, are scheduled for increased shipments. Meanwhile, independent refiners such as Rongsheng Petrochemical, Hengli Petrochemical and Shenghong Petrochemical will receive slightly reduced volumes this month.

Aramco officials declined immediate comment when approached about the latest supply figures. The continued strong exports align with recent OPEC+ production decisions aimed at gradually increasing global supply.

The sustained high-volume shipments follow OPEC+'s agreement for another monthly production increase - marking three consecutive months where the alliance has boosted output by an additional cumulative total exceeding one million barrels per day since April implementation began.

Industry analysts note that these coordinated increases represent steady progress toward restoring pre-pandemic production levels across member nations while carefully balancing market stability considerations against growing global demand signals from major importers like China.
